Identifiers

An identifier in the Bundt Toolset is a name that we assign to something. Using this identifier, you will be able to refer to the right thing later on.

Almost anything that you create using the Bundt Toolset needs a name, and hence an identifier. For example, every model has a name, and most model elements have names too. These names are identifiers.

Details

Identifiers must follow these rules for the system to consider them valid:

  • They must not be over 256 characters long.
  • They must start with a letter.
  • They can only contain letters, numbers or underscore "_" characters.
